In early December, the Vietnamese CAAV authority (the country’s civil aviation authority) gave permission to Aeroflot. to operate flights between Vietnam and Russia. The approval covers eight Airbus A330 and one Boeing B777 aircraft. In the future, applications for another 19 airliners will be considered.
The airline’s press service reports that flights to Ho Chi Minh City, as well as in the opposite direction, will be operated twice a week. Departure from the capital is Wednesday and Sunday, from Ho Chi Minh City – Thursday and Monday. The flight from Sheremetyevo to the Vietnamese metropolis will last almost ten hours, the return journey will take one hour more.
